During flotation, air is introduced into the slurry to form a large number of bubbles, so particles of minerals that are not easily wetted by water, usually called hydrophobic mineral particles, adhere to the bubbles and float to the surface of the slurry along with the bubbles to form a mineralized foam layer; And those particles that are easily wetted by water, commonly called hydrophilic mineral particles, cannot adhere to the bubbles and remain in the slurry. The purpose of sorting is achieved by discharging the mineralized foam.
