Product Description
Spiral classifier is referred to as classifier, is one of the equipment in mineral processing. Classifier is a kind of classification device that depends on the principle-different solid particles proportion has different precipitation speed in liquid to classify minerals. It can filter out the minerals grain and powder after grinding. So that the coarse materials are screwed into the feed inlet of the mill, while the fine materials are discharged from the overflow pipe.
Features of Spiral Classifier
1. Simple structure, reliable running and easy operation; 2. It mechanically classifies through the mechanism of different sedimentation speed of solid particle in liquid due to different size and different specific gravity; 3. It can classify the ground material powder from the grinder, spiral the coarse grain into material inlet of grinder through the spiral chip, and discharge the classified fine grain from overflow surface; 4. Its base is made from channel steel, and its body is welded from steel plate; 5. The lower support of spiral bearing is of the engine-bearing structure of good wear-resistance and durability; 6. The lifting device is of electric and manual mode.
The classifier is based on the principle that the size of solid particles is different, the specific gravity is different, and therefore the settling speed in the liquid is different, the fine ore particles float in the water into overflow, and the coarse ore particles sink at the bottom of the tank. Pushing the screw to the upper part of the discharge, can grade the ground powder in the mill to filter, and then screw the coarse material into the mill feed port by using the spiral plate, and discharge the filtered fine material from the overflow pipe.
