Production Introduction

Trommel screen is designed for alluvial/placer gold ore processing, it's consist of a half covered trommel screen, one diesel engine/ electric motor, water pump& water pipes, and other facilities such as the feeding hoper and the mobile system. This trommel machine normally works together with sluice box , gold centrifugal concentrator and shaking table to form a complete ore concentration plant. It has been widely used for alluvial gold, placer gold, tantalite, niobite, and tin ore concentration. It is very popular in Africa, Asia, South America due to its easy to move and easy operation, low cost.

Working Principle and Parameters

The drum unit is mounted on the frame at an angle. The motor is connected with the drum device through the reducer and coupling, and drives the drum device to rotate around its axis. When the material enters the drum device, due to the tilt and rotation of the drum device, the material on the screen surface turns and rolls, so that the qualified material (screened product) is discharged through the discharge port at the bottom of the rear end of the drum, and the unqualified material (screened product) is discharged through the discharge port at the end of the drum. Due to the turning and rolling of the materials in the drum, the materials stuck in the sieve holes can be ejected to prevent the sieve holes from being blocked.
