The spiral classifier is one of the equipment for mineral processing. The spiral classifier uses the principle that the specific gravity of solid particles is different, and therefore the precipitation speed in the liquid is different, to perform mechanical classification. It can filter the powder ground in the mill, and then use the spiral vanes to rotate the coarse material into the mill feed port, and discharge the filtered fine material from the overflow pipe. The spiral classifier is referred to as the classifier. The classifier mainly includes four types of classifiers: high weir single spiral and double spiral, submerged single spiral and double spiral. The classifier is mainly composed of a transmission device, a spiral body, a trough body, a lifting mechanism, a lower support (bearing) and a discharge valve. The spiral classifier is widely used in mineral processing plants to form a closed-loop cycle with a ball mill to separate and divert ore sand, or to classify ore sand and fine mud in gravity mineral processing plants, and to classify the slurry in the metal mineral processing process, and to remove mud and dewater in mineral washing operations.
